Stefan Rehn

Stefan Rehn ( born September 22, 1966 in Stockholm ) is a former Swedish football player who now works as a coach. In both roles, he won multiple titles and cup wins.

Career

Rehn played in youth at Sundbybergs IK. In 1984, he signed his first professional contract with Djurgårdens IF. Until 1989, he was active for the club in Allsvenskan, before he for one season to Everton moved to the First Division. In 1990 he returned to Sweden and went to IFK Göteborg. Until 1995, he won five league titles and even the Svenska Cupen with the club. In 1995 he went abroad again, this time to Lausanne Sports in Switzerland. With the club he was twice Cup winners. In 2000 he returned to Sweden and back again to his first professional station. With Djurgårdens IF he was able in 2002 to celebrate the double of league and cup. With these successes, he ended his active career.

Rehn ran 45 times for Sweden. He took part in the European Championships in 1992 in the country and the 1994 World Cup, where each of the semi-final was reached.

Rehn in 2003 took over as coach at Djurgårdens IF. Again, he was successful and could each win two championships and cup titles. Since 2007 he is with Jonas Olsson coach of IFK Gothenburg, with which he could build on the successes. In addition to a Championship 2007 2008 Triumph succeeded in the cup. For the end of 2011, he announced his departure from the traditional club because he will take over the multiple women's champion Jitex BK Damallsvenskan.
