Stefanie ( " Steffi " ) Melbeck ( born April 16, 1977 in Hamburg) is a former German handball player. She played on the positions backcourt right and outside right.

Career

Melbeck played from 2007 in Denmark in Kolding. From the summer of 2010 Melbeck played again for the Buxtehude SV. After Melbeck became pregnant in December 2012, she ended her career at the age of 35 years.

Melbeck was a member of the German national handball team and played 223 matches in which they scored 483 goals. Their international debut on 29 April 1998 while playing against the Hungarian Handball National Team. By profession she is a bank clerk.
