Stefano Sertorelli

Stefano Sertorelli ( born December 24, 1911 in Bormio, † 17 December 1995 Sondalo ) was an Italian skier and was a member of the Mountain School in 1934 founded the Italian armed forces, the Scuola Militare di Alpinismo, eventually became the Centro Alpino Addestramento emerged.

Stefano comes from a Skisportlerfamilie. He is the brother of Skilangläufers Erminio Sertorelli and Skiabfahrtläufers Giacinto Sertorelli who died in an accident at a ski race in 1938.

He himself was at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch -Partenkirchen member, together with Enrico Silvestri, Luigi perenni and Sisto Scilligo the Italian winning team at the demonstration competition military patrol.

Later he turned to the alpine skiing to, won several national titles and also took part in international competitions. The end of 1950 he founded with the mountain guide and writer Lodovico Cusini in Livigno under the name Scuola Sci Livitur the first ski school at the site.
