Steffen Heidrich (1990 )

Steffen Heidrich ( born July 19, 1967 in Erlabrunn ) is a former football player.

Steffen Heidrich is married and has one daughter. At the TU Dresden, he completed studies for a club manager.

Stations as a player

Steffen Heidrich played in his youth at SV Beier field and transferred in 1985 to FC Karl- Marx-Stadt. For the FCK Heidrich played in the DDR - Oberliga 121 games and scored 31 goals. He was an important part of the team, which had its most successful period after the championship season 1966/67, in the late 1980s. On April 11, 1990 Steffen Heidrich was 2-0 against Egypt to its single use in the jersey of the GDR national team. After two years in the Bundesliga 2 with the Chemnitz FC is closed Heidrich 1993 VfB Leipzig, who had just been promoted to the Bundesliga. In the 1993/94 season Heidrich played 30 Bundesliga games for the Leipzig and scored four goals. However, the descent he could not prevent.

After the Leipzig were relegated to the Regionalliga in 1998, Heidrich joined Energie Cottbus. Although he was always thrown back from injury, he was instrumental as captain share of the Bundesliga rise of Lausitz in 2000. In the 2000 /01 Bundesliga season Heidrich, however, was only twice on the court and therefore transferred in the summer of 2001 to Dynamo Dresden in the Oberliga. He immediately became the leading player and was able to ascend to the people of Dresden within three years twice. In the first season second division Dynamo Dresden 2004/ 05 Heidrich denied due to injury just eight games and ended the season end his career.

Stations as a manager

After two years of working as a team manager at 1st FC Dynamo Dresden Steffen Heidrich returned to Cottbus. In Lusatia the former leaders of players took over on 1 June 2006 until 10 August 2009, the function of the manager. With his resignation as manager, he took over the responsibility for the descent into the second league.

On 9 January 2012, the FC Erzgebirge Aue Heidrich presented in a press conference as the new sporting director. After the team had five games brought just one point gave the club on March 4, 2013 announced the separation of Heidrich.
