Steffi Jacob

Steffi Jacob ( born December 30, 1975 in Schmalkalden ) is a German skeleton pilot. She is also known by her birth name Steffi Hanzlik.

Steffi Jacob went down in the history of the Skeleton sport, as in 1996 in Koenigssee was able to win the first World Cup race of the ladies. Even the World Cup this first season 1996/97 they won. 1997/98 it was in this rating second behind Maya Pedersen - Bieri, 1998/99, she won a second time. In the 2000 /01 season, she was behind Alexandra Comber again second. Nine times she was able to win World Cup races. In the season 1998/99 they won all four races in the series.

At the German Championships 2002 in Altenberg, she was behind Diana Sartor Vice-Champion, 2003, she was champion. 2004 in Koenigssee, she was again, this time behind Kerstin Jürgens Vice-Champion, 2006 Fourth in Winterberg. Trained it is by Jens Müller.
