Steinbach (Haut-Rhin)

Steinbach is a commune with 1349 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region. It belongs to the district Thann, to Canton Cernay and community association Cernay et environs. Up to the southeast, the region is part of the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges.

Geography

The community of Steinbach is located at the foot of the Vosges mountains, about 17 kilometers northwest of Mulhouse.
