The Steinbeke is about 10.5 km long very rarely water leading left tributary of the lip, its water flows across the Rhine into the North Sea. The difference in height between the source and mouth is 175 m.

Course

From here, the further course for about 3.1 km long and leads into predominantly westerly direction towards Bad Lipp. Now the creek flowing again for a good 1.5 km south-westerly direction until its confluence with the lip, to about 135 m above sea level. Water management
