The Steinhübel ( formerly Hindenburg height ) is a 816 meters high hill north of Rübenau in the Saxon Erzgebirge. The rugged Felspartie is also the highest peak in the beet Auer Kriegwald.

The view is partially restricted by dense beech forest. In the southwest Kühnhaide and Hirtstein reveal. On a clear day one can see the 1215 meter high Fichtelbergbahn and the 1244 meter high mountain wedge. To the south rises on the Czech side of the 842 meter high eavesdropping Karpacz. East of the beet Auer district Kriegwald and the Mountain School can be seen with the wind turbines.

Around 1 km west-southwest of Steinhübel is the historic deserted village Ullersdorf significant. The former place of settlement from the early 13th century is regarded with an altitude of more than 700 meters as the highest altitude relic of the colonization period in the Erzgebirge.
