Geography

The municipality comprises the lying in the district of Dahme -Spreewald part of the flaming. A scenic highlight is the juniper gorge between High Village / Sellendorf / Schönerlinde - it is part of the nature reserve, which begins there.

History

Incorporations

The municipality was created on 31 December 2002 from the voluntary merger of the previously independent municipalities Glienig and Sell village.
