Step Up (film)

Step Up is an American dance film from 2006 by star choreographer Anne Fletcher. The film will be awarded in Germany by Constantin Film. He was presented in autumn 2006 in the international cinema.

Action

Street dancer Tyler Gage destroyed with his best friend Mac and his brother Skinny a theater stage in the Maryland School of the Arts, where the three are caught. Tyler covers his friends, and is thus as the sole culprit. He is sentenced to 200 hours of community service, he shall serve in the damaged school. There he meets the dancer Nora, who is rehearsing for an important performance. When her dance partner Andrew suddenly fails and they can not find a suitable replacement, Tyler offers as a temp and convinces her with his talent. But both have personal problems. Nora's mother would see her daughter would rather study and Tyler playful almost his friendship with Mac when he finds out that the real reason that Tyler has no time for him, the samples for the performance with Nora are. While dancing, the two come closer, and when Nora makes up with her boyfriend, her feelings, nothing stands in the way. After a party occurs between Nora and Tyler to a first kiss. After the death of Tyler Skinny recognizes that there is more to steal than cars. He decides to finish what he started. After the performance, Nora gets an offer to join a renowned dance group, and Tyler is taken at the Maryland School of the Arts.
