Stephan Steding

Stephan Steding ( born January 29, 1982 in Rinteln ) is a German javelin thrower.

2002 and 2004 he was German junior champion in 2003, he finished at the U23 European Championships in fifth place. But injuries prevented him in the following years the sporting progress.

After he won the title in 2007 at the German Championships, he participated in the 2007 World Championships in Osaka in part, but failed to qualify. In the European Cup Winter Throwing 2008 Steding was second. In the summer 2008, he improved his best performance several times, most recently on June 27 to 83.50 m in Zeulenroda. As a German -year Best was nominated for the Olympic Games in Beijing.
