Stephanie Faracy
Stephanie Faracy ( born January 1, 1952 in New York City, New York ) is an American actress.
Life and achievements
The actress made her debut in an episode of the TV series Laverne & Shirley from the year 1976. 's Oscar-winning fantasy comedy The Heaven Can Wait (1978 ) she played alongside Warren Beatty and Julie Christie. In the film drama When You Comin 'Back, Red Ryder? (1979 ) as well as in the made-for- TV action-comedy The lucky ones (1984 ) she played a greater role in each. In the TV movie Goldie and the Bears (1984 ), she took over the title role of Goldie Hawkins. In the comedy Great Outdoors - Holiday threesome (1988 ) she played the role of Connie Ripley, wife of Chet Ripley ( John Candy ).
In the 1990s appearances followed in numerous television series - mostly in individual episodes - and television films, as well as a supporting role in the comedy Hocus Pocus (1993 ), in which Faracy on the side of Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker was seen. In the television film The Only Way Out (1993 ) she played alongside John Ritter one of the major roles. They played an important role also in the TV movie Silver Lake ( 2004), which was designed as a pilot episode of a TV series. In the Oscar-winning comedy Sideways (2004), she played the mother of Stephanie (Sandra Oh).
