Stephanie Leonidas
Stephanie Leonidas (born 14 February 1984 in London, United Kingdom) is a British actress.
Life and career
She is the daughter of a Greek father and a Cypriot - British mother and three siblings. Her younger brother Dimitri and her younger sister Georgina is also an actor. Her older sister Helena works as a primary school teacher. At the age of eight, she began playing in amateur theater, where she performed in musical roles such as Annie and Oliver Twist. At the age of nine she had her first acting agent.
In 1997, she was first seen in the television series Chalk. It was followed by appearances in other television series such as Down to Earth, Night & Day and Holby City. Her first starring role in a feature film they had in the fantasy film MirrorMask by Dave McKean in 2005. In the following years she starred in several television series such as Revelations - The Revelation and feature films such as Crusade in Jeans and Atlantis - The End of the World. Since the year 2013, it can be seen in the science fiction television series Defiance in the role of aliens Irisa Nyira.
