Stephen Campbell Moore

Stephen Campbell Moore, Stephen actually Thorpe ( born November 30, 1979 in London, England ) is a British film and stage actor.

Life

Stephen Campbell Moore is the son of a telecommunications engineer and a therapist at a London hospital; His elder brother works as engineer. Moore grew up in the British county of Hertfordshire, where he received his education at the local Berkhamstead School. Early on, he knew he wanted to be an actor, so Moore went to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he received his degree in 1999. His nickname Campbell Moore - it's the name of his paternal grandfather - Stephen had therefore appropriate, as there was already another actor named Stephen Thorpe.

Moore's career began first at the theater; so he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company, who played, among others, at the Royal National Theatre. British director Stephen Fry Moore finally discovered in 2003 for his film Bright Young Things.

Became internationally known Moore, when he took over one of the roles in Alan Bennett's play The History Boys, which led him among other things to Broadway in New York City, Australia and Hong Kong. When the play was adapted into the 2006 feature film of the same name, Moore could also be recovered as a performer.

2010, Moore starred in the remake of Ben Hur the Roman Messala, who had been embodied in the original by Stephen Boyd.

Stephen Campbell Moore since 2010 romantically involved with actress Claire Foy, who he met at the filming of The Last Templar.
