Stephen Dabiša of Bosnia
Stjepan Dabiša († 1395 ) was a nephew of the first Bosnian king Tvrtko I and followed this in 1391 to the throne.
Under his rule, an Ottoman attack on Bosnia was repulsed in 1392 and in 1394 a peace agreement with the Hungarian king Sigismund closed, which ended a long-standing war between the two kingdoms and territorial concessions of his predecessor Tvrtko made undone. The price, however, was a waive any claim on the part of the Kingdom of Bosnia to rule over Croatia and Dalmatia.
Stjepan Dabiša died in 1395; his duties then took over " the Unplaned Jelena " ( Jelena Gruba ).
It is worth mentioning that his sister Maria ( * 1340, † April 27, 1403, castle Bühringen about Bad Ueberkingen ) was married through the mediation of the Emperor Charles IV with Count Ulrich V ( X ) of Helfenstein in Swabia. Mary will be charged to the rapid financial decline of the counts of Helfenstein.
