Stephen L. Johnson

Stephen L. Johnson ( born March 21, 1951 in Washington, DC) is an American scientist and former administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA).

Life

After schooling, he studied biology at the University in Upland Taylor and acquired in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA Biology). A subsequent post-graduate studies of pathology at George Washington University, he completed a Master of Science ( MS Pathology ).

He then worked in the private sector and has held several positions at the company Litton Bionetics, Inc. and Hazelton Laboratories Corporation.

2005 Johnson was selected by U.S. President George W. Bush as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA ) has been appointed. He held until the end of Bush's term in January 2009 this office.
