Stephen Norrington
Stephen Norrington ( born 1964 in London, United Kingdom) is a British filmmaker who works as a director, special effects expert, actor, editor, artist, writer and producer.
Life
He began his career as a special effects creators for such films as Arena and Aliens - The Return. Later minor roles followed as an actor. In films like The Witches and Space Shift, he worked as a makeup artist.
At 31 he made his debut as a director with the film Death Machine, in which he also appeared as an actor and wrote the screenplay. In 1998, he came with the comic book adaptation Blade a blockbuster. In his next film, The Last Minute, he contributed as a director, screenwriter, actor, producer and editor.
In The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with Sean Connery he directed. For the 2004 release movie Exorcist: The Beginning, the sequel to the film The Exorcist in 1973, he took over the implementation of the special effects.
