Stephen P. Laurie

Stephen P. Laurie is a British amateur astronomer and asteroid explorer.

Although he engages in the occupation of an actuary, he found the time to get to 1997 to discover a total of 50 asteroids from 1995. For his observations he uses the observatory of Church Stretton (IAU code 966 ), in the environment he lives and works, as well as the Observatory of Ragdon (IAU code J17 )

He also deals with the search for comets and dwarf stars and is the discoverer of Supernova SN 1997bq in the spiral galaxy NGC 3147th
