Stephen Singer-Brewster

Stephen C. Singer- Brewster (also Stephen C. Brewster ) ( born 1945 ) is an American astronomer.

He took between 1985 and 1988 as observers and astro meters under the leadership of Eleanor Helin at the Planet - Crossing Asteroid Survey. He discovered six asteroids and the periodic comets 105P/Singer Brewster.

He was an active member since 1983 of the Stony Ridge Observatory and was there on the board. Until his retirement in 2003, he worked on several projects at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, most recently at the Europa Orbiter, a planned fact-finding mission to Jupiter 's moon Europa.

The asteroid ( 10315 ) Brewster was named after him.
