Stephen Williams (politician)

Stephen Williams ( born October 11, 1966 in Abercynon, UK ) is a British politician of the Liberal Democrats party.

Life

Williams grew up in South Wales. He attended the Mountain Ash Comprehensive School and studied history at the University of Bristol, where he graduated in 1988. He then completed his training in tax consultancy sector, working for companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers and Grant Thornton.

Since his university days, Williams engaged in politics. Williams won the constituency Bristol West in Bristol at the British general election, 2005. Since 1935, Williams is the first liberal politician who was able to win this constituency.

Williams lives openly homosexual in Bristol.
