Sternensommer

Star Summer is a German children's and youth television series, which was erstausgestrahlt on February 7, 1981 at ZDF. The script for the series gave Justus peacocks, responsible for the production was magnetic film. Originally were probably 12 episodes planned, are ultimately for reasons of cost but only 6 were produced.

Action

Jochen Feucht and his family move to a new city, as his father is there to take up a position as superintendent of the local chemical plant. This work is preparing for some time the locals a major headache because mysterious things going on. More and more faults occur, and especially the smog, which has its origins in the work, makes the population to create. Jochen befriends with Michael Glasuschek, the grandson of Mr. Glasuschek who leads a antique goods business. Mr. Glasuschek gets a visit from a recently uncanny lady, the wife of Dr. Mark Ward called and has a special interest in the business and a doll that is actually for sale. This doll, which can be lively at times, is a reflection of her companion Tobias.

Jochen and Michael watch one night the stars; because they make an eerie acquaintance. Suddenly there is an old man, who introduces himself as Lodeweik, with a strange little tree in the room. He tells them that he came from the planet Krypton to Earth and help needed because the Planet Krypton Xenon wanted to destroy and that the whole earth was even in danger. He also tells of the conflict between Krypton, a planet the cold and xenon, in the reign scorching weather. As it turns out, Mrs. Mark Ward and her mysterious companion Tobias are emissaries from the planet Xenon, which are to track and Lodeweik. For the earth, they are planning a series of disasters and use the chemical plant as a secret base. In the store of Glasuscheck is an old mirror, can move through time with Mark Ward and Tobias. It begins a wild chase against Lodeweik. Mr. Feucht also increasingly recognizes the danger, particularly emanating from the power plant, and is working hard on a solution. He brings himself into trouble and was made barely a stop. Michael and Jochen friends with Lodeweik and try this, so far-reaching forces to help.
