Steuben County (New York)
Steuben County is a county located in the state of New York in the United States. In the 2000 census, the county had 98 726 inhabitants and a population density of 27 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Bath.
History
The county was named in honor of the coming of Prussia General Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben.
Geography
The county has an area of 3,637 square kilometers, of which 30 square kilometers are water surface.
