As a psychologist, he has been working for over 25 years with the theme of family. However, they also represent a change in thinking about the needs of children. He complains, inter alia, a lack of support for boys in school. He approaches the world as a consultant for young friendly schools. In his latest book he is committed to promoting the relationship between young children and parents, he is threatened by too early and too long group -home care and the associated measurable stress for small children.

In each of his books he treats an underlying social problem. His experiences are based on the work with problem families, Vietnam veterans, emergency victims and victims of rape, trauma and bullying.

In his native Australia he has been working for social justice as well as environmental issues. He also advocates for human rights campaigns and helps refugee families and children in dealing with the Australian authorities. Works

The Making of Love ( 1980) was a response to the then epidemic spreading distinctions from which Biddulphs run, most would have been unnecessary and avoidable.

In Manhood ( Men Seeking ) are issues like father -friendly workplace practices, paternity leave, counseling services and health services for men, addressed. Furthermore, it emphasizes the recognition of the importance of fathers, for a clear and valuable role in the lives of sons and daughters.
