Steve Biko FC

The Steve Biko Football Club is a football club based in Bakau in The Gambia, a town near the capital Banjul. Named after the South African civil rights activist Steve Biko club playing in the highest league in Gambian football in the GFA League First Division and rose after the 2007 season in the GFA League Second Division from. The championship was never won.

For CAF Cup 2002 had qualified, but attendance declined.

Steve Biko FC was founded in 1978 and initially began in the third division. The rise in the second took place in 1983 and 1989 they played for the first time in the premier league.
