Steve Burtt, Jr.

Steven Burtt ( born March 4, 1984 in New York City ) is an American- Ukrainian basketball player. He plays at BK Spartak Saint Petersburg on the position of point guard.

Career

After attending college in New York, announced Steven Burtt, whose eponymous father had played in the NBA, at the NBA Draft 2006. He was not not selected by the NBA club and went to Europe. In the first four years in Europe Burtt played with seven different clubs. At the beginning of the season 2010/2011 he moved to the ukrainischeSuperliga first to ferro - SNTU and then BK Dnipro. As in 2010, with ferro - SNTU he was in 2011 with Ukrainian Dnipro Ligapokalsier. In the same year Burtt took Ukrainian citizenship and played for the Ukrainian national basketball team at the European Championships 2011. Burtt was a participant of the Ukrainian All- Star Games in 2010, 2011 and 2012. It was 2011 and 2012 for MVP selected. After a season in Turkey at Tofas Bursa Burtt first moved to Awtodor Saratov in the Russian Super League. Since the fall of 2013, he plays for Spartak St. Petersburg.
