Steve Grossman (saxophonist)

Steve Grossman ( born January 18, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American jazz saxophonist.

Grossman met with 8 years alto saxophone (where he was taught by his brother Hal), with 16 years of soprano saxophone and a year tenor saxophone. After Grossman had occurred at the age of sixteen short time with Elvin Jones, began his professional career when he was in 1969 successor to Wayne Shorter in the fusion band by Miles Davis and appeared with him in 1970 at the Filmore West, heard on the 1977 released album Black Beauty: Miles Davis at Fillmore West.
