Steve Kenyon

Steve Kenyon (actually Stephen Kenyon, born September 16, 1951) is a former British long-distance runner.

Four times he won at IAAF World Cross Country Championships with the English team a medal: 1977 in Dusseldorf with a 29th place silver, in Glasgow in 1978 with a 42nd place bronze in Paris in 1980 with a 17th place and gold in 1982 in Rome with a 22. Place silver.

In 1979 he was third in the New York City Marathon. In 1981, he won the Egmond Half Marathon, finished sixth in the February edition of the Tokyo International Women's Marathon and won at the night of Borgholzhausen and the Manchester Marathon. In 1982 he became British marathon champion, but did not reach the marathon of the European Athletics Championships in Athens the goal.

In 1985, he triumphed at the Great North Run. The following year, he finished third in this race.
