Steve Sem-Sandberg

Steve Sem- Sandberg ( born August 16, 1958 in Oslo) is a Swedish writer, critic and translator.

The age of eighteen, he wrote his first novel Sländornas Värld, and then wrote in the 1970s, a series of novels. Sem- Sandberg translated in this time also works by other writers. He has worked as an editor for the debate in the cultural side of the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet.

Published in 2003, Sem- Sandberg under the title Ravensbrück a novel about Milena Jesenská, the temporary friend of Franz Kafka. 2009 was the writer for his novel De fattiga I Łódż the August price. Steve Sem- Sanberg lives in Stockholm and Vienna.
