Steve Webster (sidecar racer)

Steve Webster MBE ( born January 7, 1960 in Easingwold, North Yorkshire, England) is a former British motorcycle racer and ten -time world champion in the sidecar class.

Webster went first race at the age of 19 years. In 1983 he join in the motorcycle world championship and won in 1987 with partner Tony Hewitt on an LCR - Yamaha its first of ten world titles. From 181 World Championship races Webster 62 could end up as the winner. He also took 37 second and 27 third places and took 82 pole positions. The first 23 of his victories drove a Webster in the Motorcycle World Championship, the other 39 were held as part of the 1997 discharged in the Framework Programme of the Superbike World Championship FIM Sidecar World Championship. Except Hewitt arrived yet Gavin Simmons, David James and Paul Woodhead sidecar used.

Webster is a member of the British Empire.
