Steven Davis

Steven Davis (born 1 January 1985 in Ballymena ) is a Northern Irish football player. His position is mostly in the defensive midfield.

Career

A native of Northern Irishman began his professional career in the youth team of Aston Villa. After a very successful games in his youth, he came early in the season 2003/ 04 in the first team. His debut, he completed on September 18, 2004 against Norwich City. He made his international debut on 9 February 2005 against Canada. In July 2007 he signed a contract at FC Fulham. The beginning of 2008 was awarded to the Glasgow Rangers, who committed him after half a year for a transfer of £ 3 million. In May 2010, he was voted Scotland's Player of the Year.
