Steven Lewis
Steven Lewis ( Steven James "Steve" Lewis, born May 20, 1986 in Stoke -on-Trent ) is a British pole vaulter.
In 2006 he won, starting for England, bronze at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
At the World Athletics Championships 2007 in Osaka and the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, he was eliminated without a valid attempt. In 2009 he was fourth at the European Indoor Championships in Turin and seventh at the World Championships in Berlin.
The following year saw a sixth place finish at the World Indoor Championships in Doha and the silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
Steven Lewis is coached by Dan Pfaff and starts for the Newham & Essex Beagles.
