Life

Steven Rosenblum worked since 1987 as an independent editor more than twenty films, including Glory ( 1989), Dangerous Beauty - The courtesan of Venice ( 1998) X -Men ( 2000), The Last Samurai (2003) and Failure to Launch (2006 ).

Steven Rosenblum was nominated three times for an Academy Award: for Glory ( 1989), Braveheart (1995) and Blood Diamond (2006). Three times he was awarded the Eddie Award from the American Cinema Editors. He was honored for his work on the series The Best Years of the Emmy in 1989. For his work on The Last Samurai, he was together with his colleague Victor Du Bois a Golden Satellite Award. The American Film Institute honored him in 2011 with the Franklin J. Schaffner Award.

He often collaborates with director Edward Zwick.
