Stevens (constructor)

Stevens was an American chassis manufacturer in single-seater racing car - 1950s.

The Stevens- racing cars came in the first half of the 1950s in the AAA National series used. In 1950, and the years 1952 to 1956, the vehicles were used by different teams at the 500-mile race at Indianapolis. 1950 drove Duane Carter Stevens with an Offenhauser engine in the 13th place of the overall standings. The best result was in Indianapolis for a Stevens scored 1953 Ernie McCoy with the eighth overall. Best starting place was the pole position by Jerry Hoyt 1955.
