Stiltskin
Stiltskin is a company incorporated in the 1990s indie or grunge band of Scottish origin. Her most famous tracks from her first album Inside The Mind's Eye was known as the soundtrack to a commercial for Levi's. " Rumpelstiltskin " is the English name of the German fairy tale character Rumpelstiltskin.
The band was founded in 1992 by Peter Lawlor and James Finnigan. Lawlor asked Finnigan, if he did not want to help with the band's formation, as Lawlor had written some songs. 1994 was the occupation with Ross McFarlane and Ray Wilson completely. The British number one hit Inside was followed by the second single, Footsteps, which debuted at # 20 on the charts. Stiltskins debut album recorded in Europe ( less in the U.S.) a remarkable success by made it into the Top 10. A tour followed in September and October. However, the band broke even before the recording of a second album apart as singer Ray Wilson joined as a replacement for Phil Collins Genesis. In addition, both two band members with each other and the band had fallen out with the record label.
In 2005 there was a new foundation of the band. Ray Wilson was his old Genesis companions Zidkyahu Nir ( Nir Z) as a drummer and Irvin Duguid, win the Tour former keyboardist of the band Stiltskin. On 6 October 2006 the studio album She has been published in the trade, which was available through the band website since April 2006. This was followed by an extensive European tour, exclusively on the title of Stiltskin and the band played CUT ( CUT at it was a project from 1999 by Ray, Steve Wilson, Nir Z and others). In early 2007 appeared the associated tour album simply titled Live, which was recorded on 25 October 2006 in Bonn harmony.
