Stimorol

Stimorol is a 1915 Holger Sorensen established confectionery manufacturer based in Vejle (Denmark). The company is known for its flagship product, the Stimorol chewing gum.

History

The company began as a candy maker, the chewing gum in 1956 brought to the market and protected as a trademark in Germany. These were initially sold only in Scandinavia, but are now available all over Europe. In 1978, a sugar-free version has been put on the market, since the 1990s, there are different flavors. In 2002 the company was acquired by Cadbury Schweppes.
