Stine Jørgensen

Stine Jørgensen ( born September 3, 1990 in Dronninglund ) is a Danish handball player who belonged to the squad of the Danish national team.

Career

In the club

Stine Jørgensen started playing handball at the age of five years at the Danish club Dronninglund IF. At 16 years, the backcourt player Aalborg DH followed, in which she was active in the youth field at first.

Jørgensen was used from 2008 in the women's team Aalborg DH, who took in the highest Danish league. With Aalborg 2009, she won the Danish runner. In the following season they first participated in the EHF Champions League. In November 2012, she signed a current from the 2013/14 season three-year contract with FC Midtjylland Håndbold.

In the National Team

Jørgensen was initially on the Danish Youth and Junior Women 's National Team. With these selected teams won the bronze medal at the U- 18 World Cup in 2008 and finished at the U-19 European Championship 2009 13th Place.

Jørgensen has been declining since September 24, 2010 for the Danish national team for goals. The World Cup 2011 in Brazil was their first major tournament. She threw five goals in nine games and finished with Denmark in fourth place. A year later, she served on the European Championship squad. During the tournament the Dane scored 25 goals in seven games. Jørgensen's biggest success in their international match career she succeeded at the World Championships in 2013 in Serbia, when she won the bronze medal.
