Stir It Up

Stir It Up ( to German as " scrambled it to " " it to cook" or ) is a composed by Bob Marley song, which was first released in 1972 on the album " I Can See Clearly Now" by the American Johnny Nash. In 1973, the piece on the album Catch a Fire by Bob Marley and his band The Wailers, the sixth of nine songs was published.

Stir It Up was the first internationally successful song Marley's and is still one of his most famous pieces. The song is about intuitive seduction and was an integral part in concerts of the tour between 1973 and 1975 and later isolated in the years 1978 and 1979. A live recording was released on the live album Babylon by Bus ( 1978).

The song is written in A- flat major. The duration of the album version is about five and a half minutes.
