Stjepan Janić

Stjepan Janić (* November 24, 1980 in Bačka Palanka, Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian canoeist.

Janić starts for the canoe club Jarun Zagreb and is a member of the Croatian national team in one kayak and double kayak. His biggest success has been the silver medal in the double kayak on the distance of 1000 meters with his brother Mićo Janić at the Junior World Championship in 1998. During the Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing, he finished ninth in the one - kayak over 500 and seventh over 1000 meters.
