Stolper See

The stumbling lake is located in the southwest of Plön district on the western edge of the eastern hill country of Schleswig -Holstein. The place Stolpe is on the lake, the community Stolpe is partially owner of the lake.

The stumbling Lake is one of the lakes that are drained by the river Old Schwentine. It opens in the southeast at Good Perdöl in the Stolper See and leaves him in the north near the Depenauer mill. Another tributary of the stumbling lake is the Schierenseer Au, which opens to the south. It is 132.6 hectares and up to 14.6 m deep. Its length is about 2.5 km. At its widest point it is about 700 m wide.
