Stormwarrior
Storm Warrior is a German metal band founded in 1998 in Hamburg.
Band History
The band was founded in 1998 by Lars Storm Warrior Ramcke and André Schumann, which the guitarist and bassist Tim Scott Bölter Zienert yet brought in their project in the same year. Strongly inspired by the 80's metal scene, but especially from a native of Hamburg metal like Helloween or Running Wild, took Storm Warrior in 1999, their first joint songs on their first demo tape ( " Metal Victory " ), which on 500 copies was limited.
A year later, the second demo tape was recorded ( " Barbaric Steel" ), which was limited to 1000 copies. These two demo tapes helped the band to achieve a certain notoriety.
After many live shows (including on the Headbangers Open Air, the Warriors of Steel meeting, and on the Logo in Hamburg), the Italian record label Dream Evil Records in 2001, the 333 units limited demo tape " Possessed by Metal" in 7 " published format, which includes two songs from the previous demo tape.
Once at the Hamburg label Remedy Records, a contract was signed, the band released in early 2002 a second 7 "( limited to 250 copies), named after the title song" Spikes & Leather ".
The debut album was recorded by Kai Hansen and Dirk Butcher in July 2002 and produced. The cover was designed by the renowned artist Uwe Karczewski, who is known for his work on the album covers of bands like Helloween and Iron Angel.
After their performance at Wacken Open Air 2002 and the Motala Metal Festival in Sweden, the band recording the EP " Heavy Metal Fire" began.
During the production of this EP guitarist Scott Bolter left the band and was replaced by David Wieczorek. After several appearances at festivals in July and August (eg Gates Of Metal festival in Sweden) to Stormwarrior went again into the Hansen Studios to produce the second album "Northern Rage", which was released in June 2004.
The album "At Foreign Shores - Live in Japan" was published on 25 August 2006. It's Storm Warriors first live album.
In December 2007, they left Remedy Records and signed a contract with Dockyard 1 About the new record label has also released the end of February 2008 published album "Heading Northe ", which included Studio Hamburg in-house Thunder Hall, Piet Sielck ( Powerhouse Studio Hamburg ) mixed and was mastered by Tommy Hansen ( Jailhouse Studios, Denmark).
In November 2008, Storm Warrior as a support band Firewind and Kiuas in Germany, Holland and Belgium on tour. It was her first tour in Europe.

Also, the artwork of the album "Heading Northe ", which was released in late February 2008 shows on that the band wants to stay in the Viking Metals division, because on the cover of the album are several to recognize floating dragon boats in the ocean.
