A Story Slam ( mutatis mutandis for English: Story contest ) is a similar to a poetry slam, live out registered competition, in which the presenters tell stories freely. It is often true stories and there is a time limit of about five to ten minutes. As one of the first successful story applies Slams The Moth, which was organized in 1997 by the poet and writer George Dawes Green for the first time in New York.
