The STOXX AG (English STOXX Limited) is a Indexemittentin headquartered in Zurich. It is a subsidiary of the German Börse AG and SIX Group AG, was established in February 1998.

The first two indices were then the EURO STOXX 50, STOXX Europe 50 Today the indices of STOXX family cover all world markets. Such indices serve both as a benchmark for actively managed investment funds and, on the other hand, the basis for financial instruments such as index certificates and index funds.
