Strandflat

Beach Flate ( from Norwegian beach Flaten ) or also called a beach plate to the west and north of the Scandinavian coast and locally at other coastal current or former periglacial climate spread entirely or mostly submerged coastal platform. Flaten beach consist of rocks and only a few hundred meters, but also up to fifty kilometers in width. Toward the sea they fall off easily, for inland they rise steeply. Characteristic are its shape after named Hutberge that are often several hundred meters high and its caused by erosion terraces, like a hat brim run around the top. The emergence of the beach drive is still unclear. Was for fishermen and farmers of Norway and is the beach Flate with its combination of sea and land settlement and economic space, mainly because of protected natural harbors, the nearby fishing spots and deposited in the valleys loose rock.
