Strata (band)

Strata is an alternative rock band from Campbell, California.

Band History

The band was established in 2000 under the name of Downside. Was published in 2001 under that name first EP Sleep with nine titles on its own, followed by another EP Now the Industry is Outnumbered. Their Factories are Burning Down that has already been published in 2003 as Strata. Tours opening for Alien Ant Farm and dredg gave them a higher degree of acquaintance, who eventually earned them a record deal with Wind - Up Records.

In 2004, she released her self-titled debut album Strata, which debuted at number 41 on the Billboard "Top Heatseekers " chart. Piece By Piece, the first from the album decoupled single, was used for the soundtrack of the action film The Punisher and the console game Madden NFL 2005. The second single Never There (She rod ), for which a video was shot, also appeared on the soundtrack of the movie Elektra.

For the second album Strata Presents The End of the World is planned as a release date of July 17, 2007. A first single Cocaine ( We're All Going to Hell ) it was released digitally in January of the same year.
