Stratford (Ontario)

Stratford [ ˌ stɹætfəɹd ] is a town in southwestern Ontario, Canada on Avon. River and the city were named after Stratford- upon- Avon in England, and the local river Avon. 2001 Stratford had 29 676 inhabitants.
