Street poster art

Paste- Up is a term from the Streetartkultur. This refers to a wound-up with glue or glue poster in general. This type of art falls into the gray zone of Gesetzesgebung because the posters can be removed without leaving any residue usually and thus do not constitute illegal act.

Engineering and Manufacturing

Larger paste -ups are usually produced by screen printing or stencil, smaller printed or drawn by hand directly. The paper pays particular attention, it should be thicker and more stable than conventional, because it can break when pulling through the moisture of the glue or paste. But there are also artists who consciously work with newspaper, then these works are not durable due to weather conditions.
