Description

The stem Comprehensive twistedstalk is a deciduous, rosette loose Hemikryptophyt which reaches heights of growth from 30 to 100 centimeters. The rhizome is crooked and knotty. The leaves are amplexicaul. The flowers are whitish. The berries are vermilion.

The flowering period extends from June to July. There is insect pollination or self-pollination. The seeds are spread by Endochorie. The species is a cold germinator.

The chromosome number is 2n = 32

Dissemination

The mixed forests Henbit twistedstalk grows in montane fresh spruce and pine ( Foliage ), green alder thickets, Hochstaudenfluren and sickernassen ( Canyon ) rock benches. He avoids lime. The species occurs in Germany used in Southern Bavaria in the Alps and foothills, rare in eastern Bavaria in the Bavarian Forest in southern Baden- Württemberg in the foothills of the Alps and in the Southern Black Forest and South Saxons in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the Ore Mountains in Zechengrund before. In Thuringia, the stems Comprehensive twistedstalk is extinct.
