Eric in stress is a 1998 broadcast and 1999 animated series from England. The German premiere took place on 13 September 1998.

Action

The forty- year-old Eric Feeble has fiery red hair and lives in a London semi-detached house. As the name of the series suggests, he is always stressed. His ex-wife Liz has escaped the hustle and bustle and has turned to Buddhism. She appears only sometimes again and makes him a hard time. Even his children make him nothing but worry. His nine year old son Brian is autistic predisposed, which he has never achieved anything in school. He runs around all day senseless and puts things in his mouth. His six year old daughter Claire is allergic to pretty much everything and makes Eric in every episode concerns by allergic reactions. Even otherwise, it always follows the pitch. His only relief is the Portuguese au pair girl Mary, who is strong alcoholic and often makes trouble. In the other half of the double house it looks very different. Here live perfect people who also called as: Family Perfect. They are wealthy and always happy.

If Eric is particularly stressed, a wildly beating vein is visible on his temple. At the end of each episode everything negative is falling about him, whereupon the wire coming out of the head and chokes him unconscious.

• Ray Perfect - The father of the family snobbish Perfect working in the same company as Eric. But unlike him, he is an overachiever and career moderately misses no opportunity to pull down Eric even more.

• Alison - Eric's secretary, but the entire working day spent with the phone, so Eric has miterledigen their job.
• The Doctor - A young at heart 48 year old doctor, Eric from the given reasons at least once a week has to go. From him he gets a lot of medications prescribed, but no good, because Eric's diseases are psychosomatic.
• Mrs. Wilson - An old, very slow woman per episode Eric hampered even with their extremely slow journey on the path to the mailbox if it is just in a hurry.
