The electricity meter was one of Carl Ludwig in 1868 developed instrument for measuring the flow strength in larger arteries and veins. For this, the blood vessels of the experimental animal were cut and incorporated the electricity meter between the two vessel stumps. Other scientists like Hellmut Weese and Sigurd Janssen have constructed power watches.
