Struckum

Struckum (Danish: Strukum, Frisian: Strükem ) is a municipality in the district of North Friesland Schleswig -Holstein.

Geography and transport

Struckum located about 15 km north of Husum on the highway 5 and the Marschbahn Husum - Niebüll. The districts Fehsholm and Wallsbüll lie in the municipality.

Policy

Municipal council

  • Of the eleven seats in the municipal council voters Community WGS I 've had in the municipal election 2008, five seats, the voter community AWG four and the SPD two seats.
  • In the local elections on May 26, 2013, the WGS I received 43.3 percent, five seats. The AWG came to 30.7 per cent and three seats. The SPD was 26.0 percent and also three seats. The turnout was 55.4 percent.
